Tips wanted in case of 17-year-old London Thomas, after police and FBI search boyfriend's Inkster home

INKSTER (WWJ) -- An Inkster family is pleading for help from the the community, as they seek information that might lead them to a missing teenager.

London Thomas, 17, was last seen when she was dropped off at a home on Carlysle Street near Inkster Road on April 5, according to investigators.

Her family has not been able to contact her since, and the FBI has since joined the investigation.

Thursday night, Inkster Police, along with the Detroit Police and the FBI, raided a home believed to be that of the teen's boyfriend.

According to Inkster Police, investigators were looking for DNA evidence after receiving "concerning information" from the teen's phone.

No arrests have been made.

The teen's phone was last pinged near Cooper Upper Elementary School on Ann Arbor Trail in Westland. A community search effort is planned in that area on Saturday.

Thomas is described as a Black female, 5'8'' tall and weighing 115 lbs. She was last seen pink Crocs shoes and black leggings, with either a black hoodie with a Jason mask, or dark green hoodie that says 1-800-Mental-Health-Matters.
