ROSCOMMON COUNTY (WWJ) - Multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies in Michigan and Florida are turning to the public for help in locating two missing sisters after they disappeared in Northern Michigan over a month ago.

The FBI Detroit Field Office is assisting the Roscommon County Sheriff's Office along with the Bay City Resident Agency and federal agents in Miami in their search for Iris Perez, 14, and Tamara Perez, 15, two sisters who disappeared back on June 28, 2023.

According to the FBI, the teen sisters were last seen by a neighbor going towards woods near their home in Houghton Lake, Mich. They have not been seen or heard from since.

Authorities said a white, newer model Jeep was seen leaving the area at the time the sisters disappeared and may be connected to the case.

Agents said the Perez sisters had lived in Florida with their adoptive parents until March of 2023.

"They moved to Michigan after they were found in the biological mother's home in Port St. Lucia, Florida," FBI agents stated in a press release.

The sisters are known to have connections in the follwoing ctities arcross the U.S.:

• Port St. Lucie, Florida
• Lake Worth, Florida
• Winchester, Tennessee
• Houghton Lake, Michigan

Anyone who has seen Iris or Tamara or who may have information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office at (989) 275-5101.
