WYANDOTTE (WWJ) -- The Fire and Flannel Festival is back in downtown Wyandotte!

Organizers for the fall festival -- which will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 23 and run until Sunday, Sept. 26 -- say there will be fun and entertainment that appeals to everyone.

Three city blocks in the downriver town will be filled with fire magic acts, live chainsaw carvings, a carnival, music, and Jack Pine Lumberjack shows from Mackinac Island.

The World Champion Lumberjacks will go head-to-head in competition, showing off their skills with events such as chopping, sawing, axe throwing, log rolling and speed climbing

Festival goers are encouraged to wear flannels shirts for this fun fall occasion, which will also feature food trucks, vendor booths and more!
