GROSSE ILE (WWJ) – A Grosse Ile restaurant will be closed indefinitely after a fire broke out Sunday afternoon.
Grosse Ile police and fire crews were called out to Lloyd’s Bar and Grill on Macomb Street just before 1 p.m. after an employee called 9-1-1 to report a fire on the patio.
Police officials say the first officer arrived on the scene within one minute and reported the fire had spread to the ceiling.
No injuries were reported in the blaze, which has been put out.
The Grosse Ile Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
Police officials said the restaurant will “be closed for an undetermined amount of time.”
