COMMERCE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sherriff's Office confirmed no one was hurt after a fire broke out at the Barrington Apartments Friday afternoon.
The apartment complex, located off of Welch Rd just north of Pontiac Trail in Commerce Township, was undergoing construction when reports of the fire first came in around 1 p.m. on Friday.
Officials said there is no way of knowing how much damage was done at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation -- no additional details have been released.
