DELHI TWP. (WWJ) — The driver of a semi-truck has been cited for careless driving after crashing into a work truck in a construction zone.

It all happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 24 in Delhi Township, south of Lansing, according to Michigan State Police.

Road crews were working in the construction zone on southbound US-127 when a semi-truck pulling two gravel haulers left the road. The driver then overcorrected and lost control of the rig.

The second hauler fishtailed and hit a stationary road construction truck with two workers inside, a scene that was captured on dash camera footage from another truck further down the road.

The passenger in the work truck sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the gravel hauler was uninjured.
