GROSSE POINTE FARMS (WWJ) -- A Tuesday evening fire has closed the Henry Ford Medical Center-Pierson Clinic in Grosse Pointe Farms.
The third-alarm blaze reportedly started on the building’s rooftop patio, but all three floors were damaged by smoke and water.
A spokesperson for Henry Ford Health System said in a statement that there we no injuries in the fire.
Henry Ford hospital officials are currently working with authorities to establish a timeline for when the clinic can reopen.
In the meantime, all patient appointments at Pierson Clinic that were set for Wednesday are being rescheduled to other Henry Ford locations.
