
(WWJ) – We may love a good Michigan summer, but now we’re getting ready to pull out the jeans and sweatshirts, go tailgate for football games, head to the cider mills, and of course – admire the fall foliage.
Fall doesn’t officially begin for another three weeks, but Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer. And while summertime certainly dominates Michigan tourism with beaches, boats, camping and more, the fall is a multi-billion dollar industry as well.
In a new Daily J, WWJ’s Zach Clark spoke to some experts about why fall colors in Michigan are such a draw, how to best see them and just why and how it happens.
