TROY (WWJ) -- A 30-year-old Holly man is facing a charge of indecent exposure following his arrest in Troy last week.
The investigation began at around 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, when Troy Police officers were called to the Planet Fitness on John R Rd. for a report about a man who was masturbating in his vehicle.
According to witnesses, they saw the man sitting in his car in the parking lot, exposing himself and masturbating while filming female gym patrons as they were walking by.
The witnesses said they'd pulled into a parking spot near the man's vehicle. When they saw what he was doing, they moved to another area of the lot, but the suspect followed.
The suspect left the parking lot before police arrived, but officers found him and pulled him over on southbound on John R near 14 Mile Rd.
When police spoke with the suspect he said he'd stopped in the Planet Fitness parking lot to make a phone call. While he was there, he said he urinated in a cup, but didn't think anyone saw him.
The male was arrested and taken to the Troy Police lock-up. His name was not immediately released.
