Home Builders Association of Southeast Michigan returns with Home Show this weekend in Novi

The event at the Suburban Showplace Collection will be the first of its kind since January 2020.

NOVI (WWJ) -- There’s a sign that things are starting to go back to "normal" in metro Detroit…and it can be seen on Grand River in Novi!

This weekend, the Home Builders Association of Southeast Michigan will hold their Home Show at the Suburban Showplace Collection, marking the first major event of its kind since January 2020.

“We’re really excited about that opportunity of starting to bring back a semblance of normal,” HBA Southeast Michigan CEO Michael Stoskopf told WWJ’s Mike Campbell. “We’re the first major consumer show to be held in a convention center space like Suburban Collection Showplace in the state of Michigan.”

The show will operate under the retail COVID-19 precautions: fifty percent capacity for the space, masks required, social distancing enforced, extra-wide aisles between fewer vendors, and plenty of hand sanitizing stations on site.

The Novi Home & Garden Show runs Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2 at the Suburban Showplace Collection located at 4600 Grand River Avenue.
