Woman's home in Macomb County struck by several bullets overnight; MSP investigating

BRUCE TWP. (WWJ) -- A Macomb County woman is trying to figure out who fired several bullets at her home overnight.

According to Michigan State Police, the woman heard multiple gunshots and bullets striking her house at around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday in Bruce Township, on the 71000 block of St. Davis Court.

Her home and nearby car were hit, but she remained uninjured.

MSP troopers said they found shell casings nearby and police dogs were brought in to check the area. Detectives are also reaching out to neighbors for more information.

Police said she has no idea who may have fired the shots and added that she just recently moved in.
