
LANSING, Mich. (WWJ) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is set to deliver her State of the State address Wednesday night.
The address, which will be held virtually for a second straight year, due to the pandemic, will be broadcast live across the state on multiple viewing platforms, including local TV, on the state’s website, Facebook and YouTube.

Whitmer’s address is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
She says it will “stay focused on the things that unite us,” while sharing her “comprehensive vision for Michigan and lay out policy proposals to put Michiganders first.”
“I’ll speak to the progress we’ve made together, the opportunity we have right now, and why we all believe in Michigan,” Whitmer said, per a press release.
A local student’s artwork honoring the community of Oxford will be featured on the State of the State program.
