Injuries reported after Genesee County school bus carrying students crashes into pickup truck

At least two injuries were reported on Tuesday morning after a school bus carrying children collided with a pickup truck in the Davison area.

DAVISON (WWJ) - At least two injuries were reported on Tuesday morning after a school bus carrying children collided with a pickup truck in the Davison area.

As reported by WSBT, Davison Township police said the crash occurred at the intersection of N. Oak Road and Clark Street in the Flint-area on Nov. 21.


According to authorities, the school bus was turning west onto Clark when it hit the truck.

The Davison Township Police Chief told WSBT that one student was injured in the crash, but was treated at the scene.

The driver of the pick-up truck, identified as a a 30-year-old from Lapeer, was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No other details were released. The incident remains under police investigation.
