INKSTER (WWJ) – Authorities are still searching for an 18-year-old they say shot another teen to death inside an Inkster liquor store last month.

A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed on Aug. 6 at the 25 Hour Liquor on Michigan Avenue, near  Beech Daly Road, and authorities believe Allen Marion is responsible.

Michigan State Police officials say investigators are still searching for Marion, who has a warrant out for second-degree murder, discharging a firearm into a building and felony firearm.

Marion is described as a Black male, about 5-foot-6. Authorities say they have information that somebody is helping him elude capture.

He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

“If you know where he is, let us know and help get this dangerous criminal off our streets!” a tweet from MSP said Wednesday night.

An accomplice in the shooting has already turned himself in. That person’s name has not been released.

A report from Fox 2 in Detroit says the victim went to the party store with a friend on Aug. 6 and witnesses say as he was walking out, he exchanged words with someone in another car that had pulled up.

It’s not clear what escalated the situation, but the suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and fired at the teen victim.

Authorities are asking anyone who knows where Marion is or knows who is assisting him to call MSP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. All Crime Stoppers tipsters will remain anonymous.
