INKSTER (WWJ) -- An Inkster man is facing a trio of criminal charges after it's alleged he threatened a 22nd District Court judge over the phone, and then tried to escape from police.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy on Monday announced that 33-year-old Antonio Walter Clark has been charged with one count of Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer, one count of Stalking, and one count of Malicious Use of Telecommunication Services.

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, prosecutors allege that Clark made multiple threatening phone calls to 22nd District Court Judge Sabrina Johnson.

An investigation by Inkster Police then led Clark's arrest two days later on Nov. 3.

However, prosecutors said, while in custody that same afternoon, Clark tried to escape from the Inkster Police Department.

He was arrested, again, a short time later.

Clark was arraigned in 29th District Court in Wayne Monday morning and ordered held on a $1 million bond.

His next scheduled court appearance is a probable cause conference set for Nov. 13.

Authorities have not released any details about what Clark allegedly said to Johnson during the phone calls, or why he would want to target this particular judge.
