DETROIT (WWJ) A triple shooting outside a Southfield restaurant killed an Inkster woman.
Southfield Police said the shooting happened on Friday, September 4, at approximately 11:25 p.m. in the parking lot of TGI Friday's on Evergreen, near Civic Center Drive. According to authorities, an argument between two valid Concealed Pistol License (CPL) holders escalated to gunfire.
Officers arrived and found a 58-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds. First responders rushed her to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
They also found a 54-year-old Detroit man with a gunshot to the abdomen and a 42-year-old Evans, Georgia woman with a gunshot to her upper left shoulder and bicep. Her friends took her to the hospital, while he went via ambulance.
He's listed in serious but stable condition, and she's in stable condition.
Police arrested a 35-year-old Southfield man. They say both he and the deceased are CPL holders, while the others were bystanders.
According to authorities, there's no additional threat to the public.
