DETROIT (WWJ) – We’ve all heard the talk about Detroit being dangerous. Sometimes it’s warranted, but it can also be overblown.
The danger was apparent over the weekend – but not in the way you’d probably expect. The dangers of the Giant Slide at Belle Isle certainly weren’t overblown this past weekend when dozens of videos went viral on social media showing adults and children bouncing down the slide.
The nostalgic attraction at one of Detroit’s most recognizable places has been grabbing headlines all over the place after those chaotic videos. In a new edition of the Daily J podcast, WWJ’s Zach Clark took a painful ride down memory lane in the Motor City.
