KISS reschedules concert at DTE Energy Music Theatre after members test positive for COVID-19

CLARKSTON (WWJ) -- There was a bit of a road block for KISS’ tour stop in Detroit this month.

The band had to postpone five shows after band members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons tested positive for COVID-19.

KISS’ “The End Of The Road Tour” performance at DTE Energy Music Theatre was set for September 1, and has since been rescheduled for Friday, October 15.

Tickets for the previously scheduled dates (September 1; September 11) will be honored at the October 15 date, and fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. More information will be emailed directly to ticket holders.

Following a 10-day quarantine, doctors have given the all-clear for KISS to resume their farewell tour this Thursday, September 9 at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA.

Due to routing and availability, the show dates in Hartford, CT, Milwaukee, WI, and Raleigh, NC will be postponed to 2022. The remainder of the tour dates remain unchanged.
