Lansing police investigating after missing 23-year-old man found dead

LANSING (WWJ) -- A man who was reported missing last week was found dead in Lansing.

Lansing police are currently investigating the murder of the 23-year-old man whose body was found Monday at 7:30 p.m. near the railroad tracks in the area of South Clemens, not far from Potter Park Zoo.

He's been identified as Julian Andrew-Thomas Moore, who was reported missing by his family on Saturday, Apr. 30, in the 600 block of E. Kalamazoo St.

Investigators are continuing to process evidence, interview citizens and follow up on leads to determine what lead up to the victim’s death.

An autopsy will soon be conducted to determine his cause of death.
