GROVELAND TWP. (WWJ) – Cleanup efforts are underway after a tree fell on a tree removal truck in Oakland County early Wednesday evening.
The incident left Groveland Road closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
Michigan State Police officials say it happened around 5 p.m. when a Paul’s Tree Care company truck was traveling on Groveland near Edgewood when a large oak tree fell on the truck.
Officials say the driver and front passenger were not injured.
It was not clear whether the truck was driving at the time of the incident or if the crew was working in the area.
Paul’s Tree Care company is currently working on mobilizing one of their cranes to lift the tree off their truck.
There were no down wires or any other damage or injuries, according to MSP.
