DETROIT (WWJ) -- Some Lions fans have been reporting issues accessing their tickets ahead of Monday night's prime time game in downtown Detroit.
WWJ Newsradio 950 got in touch with the Ford Field ticket office, which confirmed that the Detroit Lions app — where you would normally pull up your digital tickets — was down.
Early in the afternoon, the app did appear to be working intermittently for some users.
This issue is believed to be linked to Monday morning's Amazon Web Services outage, which is a global problem affecting dozens of popular apps, websites, and games — from Starbucks, to Fortnite, to SnapChat.
The Ford Field ticket office says their app issue is stemming from Ticketmaster specifically, and they're hoping it will be resolved soon.
WWJ has reached reached out requesting additional information on any backup plans, and what fans planning to attend should know about the logistics for Monday night's game if this isn't resolved.
Officials are telling fans to add their tickets to their mobile wallets.
Gates at Ford Field will open at 4:30 p.m. as the Lions get set to face the Buccaneers for Monday Night Football. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
You can hear the game live on 97.1 The Ticket.
