GENOA TWP. (WWJ) – The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who were caught on camera at the scene of a road rage fight that left a man injured.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Grand River Avenue and Latson Road, according to the sheriff's office.
Officials say the driver of a silver or beige 2013-2015 Chevy Malibu got out of his car and attacked a 66-year-old Genoa Township man, then left him lying in the middle of the road with a head injury and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities did not say what prompted the incident.
The sheriff's office released a photo of the attack, showing the suspect swinging at the victim outside the car. Another man seen on the right side of the photo got out of the car, but didn't attack the victim, according to witnesses.
Officials with the sheriff's office say they want to talk to that man and are asking anyone who recognizes him or otherwise knows something about the attack to call Deputy Callahan at (517) 546-2440.
