LIVONIA (WWJ) -- Livonia’s newest cadet has four legs, a furry coat and a penchant for treats.
Now all he needs is a name!
Livonia Police are asking residents to weigh in on their Facebook page to help choose a moniker for their adorable new Golden Doodle K-9 officer.
Voters can choose between five names: Duke, Waldo, Cooper, Otis and Chase.
The 2-month-old puppy is in training to become the Livonia department’s first therapy dog.
The pooch will help in police interviews involving children, as well as comforting victims of traumatic events.
Voting on the new K-9 cadets name ends Wednesday, August 24.
