(WWJ) A Mega Millions player in Michigan is a $1 million winner.

The Michigan Lottery has announced that a ticket sold at the Shell gas station located at 37820 Green Street, near Main Street, in New Baltimore matched the five white balls in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing to win $1 million.

The winning numbers are 20-24-33-39-48.

“A Michigan Lottery player is starting the new year off with a big boost to their bank account after winning $1 million in last night's Mega Millions drawing!” said Lottery Commissioner, Suzanna Shkreli, in a news release. “Congratulations to the winner.”

The lucky winner should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to claim the prize. Mega Millions prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of the drawing.

Mega Millions drawings take place each Tuesday and Friday evening. Each Mega Millions play is only $2. For an additional $1 per play, players have the opportunity to add a “Megaplier” that can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets may be purchased online at MichiganLottery.com.
