DETROIT (WWJ) A new luxury apartment complex just celebrated its Grand Opening in downtown Detroit.
The City Club Apartments opened its new Central Business District Thursday at the corner of Washington Boulevard and Park Avenue, facing Grand Circus Park and just steps away from Comerica Park and Ford Field. This is the company's fourth apartment complex in the city.
The CBD provides a mixed-use apartment hotel style community, combining the services and amenities of a five-star hotel with apartment living. It will be in the same location as the former historic Statler Hotel.

The CBD Detroit Apartment Hotel includes nearly 300 short and long-term furnished and short-term unfurnished apartments and penthouses, nearly 400 valet parking spaces with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, a pet store and indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant space.

Residents will be able to enjoy a lobby lounge library with 24/7 concierge, entertainment clubroom, indoor theater, 24/7 Whole Body Fitness wellness room, and a 24/7 work from home business center and conference center.
There is also an indoor/outdoor heated pool with loungers, cabanas and hot tubs, a courtyard, a Zen Garden, a dog park, an outdoor kitchen, and fireplace.
The luxury apartments, of various size options, feature rooftop patios and terraces, oversize windows, “sexy” bathrooms with oversized tubs and showers, and custom walk-in closets.
The Joe Vicari restaurant group, known for Andiamo and Joe Muer Seafood, is slated to open the Statler Bistro on the first floor of the CBD Detroit Apartment Hotel this fall. The restaurant will feature an American/French bistro style concept and a market. Local business, Premier Pet Supply, will open “Detroit’s first full-service pet supply store this summer” directly across from Grand Circus Park.
City Club Apartments already has three complexes in downtown Detroit prior to today's grand opening.
