
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Winter Blast may have ended last weekend, but city officials in Royal Oak said the town's first ever outdoor ice rink will remain open for fun and entertainment through mid-March.
The M3 skating rink at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market features music and marshmallow roasting stations for guests to enjoy. Officials said the rink will remain open through March 13th.
The ice rink will be open to the public from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Weekend hours are as follows:
• Friday 11am-10pm
• Saturday 11am-10pm
• Sunday 11am-8pm
According to the Oakland County website, admission for skating is free for Royal Oak residents and skates can be rented for $5.

All proceeds raised will go to support the United Way 211 Helpline that helps kids who need access to necessities such as food, housing, utilities and more.
