(WWJ) He was so happy, he cried!

According to the Michigan Lottery, a Macomb County man shed a few tears but is celebrating after he won $1.05 million on a Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash ticket.

The 34-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his winning ticket May 7 at Cass Market and Liquor, located at 278 Cass Avenue in Mount Clemens.

“I was at the Lottery machine deciding which game to buy when I saw the Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash game,” said the player. “I didn’t know there was a $20 Fast Cash ticket until then, so I decided to give it a try.

“I scanned the ticket without looking it over and got a message to see the retailer. I handed my ticket to the person working, and he looked it over and then told me I’d won the jackpot plus $250,000. I’m not going to lie, I definitely shed some tears!”

With his winnings, the man said he plans to take care of his kids and invest.

Fast Cash games are a series of instant-win games that print from terminals at Lottery retailers, with tickets ranging in price from $2 per play up to $20 per play.

Fast Cash games offer a progressive jackpot that can be won instantly, with every ticket giving players a chance to win all or part of the progressive jackpot, the Lottery says.

All of the Fast Cash games feed into one jackpot, which grows with every ticket purchased. The current jackpot amount prints on each ticket, so players always know the amount of the jackpot up for grabs. The jackpot may be won at any time, and as soon as the jackpot is hit, a new one starts to grow.
