HARPER WOODS (WWJ) -- An investigation is underway in Harper Woods after a man and woman were found shot to death.
According to the Harper Woods Public Safety Department, police were called to a home in the 18500 block of Kenosha Street, near Kelly and Moross, at around 1:30 p.m. Monday on a report of a shooting.
Responding officers discovered the two people — a man and woman, both in their 30s — dead on the scene.
At this time, officials are not saying that this was a murder-suicide. However, no information was released about any possible suspects, and police did not say they're looking for anyone.
"We are in the preliminary stages of the investigation but are satisfied that there is no additional threat to the greater public at this time," said Harper Woods Public Safety Director Jason Hammerle, in a release.
The names of the people found dead are being withheld at this time.
