MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) -- A 23-year-old man is facing charges in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened in Mount Clemens earlier this month.

According to police, Adrian Williamson of Detroit had a suspended license and shouldn't have even been behind the wheel.

Williamson is accused of hitting 52-year-old Ross Richards, who was riding a bike on Gratiot Avenue near Cass on June 18. Richards died from his injuries the following day.

Wreckage recovered from the scene led authorities to Williamson, who was then arrested. He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
