DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are asking for tips in an armed robbery on the city's west side.
At around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, the 39-year-old victim was delivering a package in the 20100 block Freeland, south of 8 Mile Rd. and west of Schaefer Hwy.
The suspect approached the delivery driver on foot, demanded the package, pulled out a gun, took the package and fled the area in a blue sedan, police said.
No injuries were reported.
On Monday, police released surveillance video and images of the suspect, as well as the suspect vehicle, hoping that someone in the public will recognize him.

As always, all those who call Crime Stoppers will remain 100% anonymous, and will not be required to speak to police.
