INKSTER (WWJ) -- A man is dead after he was shot during a domestic dispute inside an Inkster apartment, early Monday morning.
According to police, the dispute involved a man and a woman at The Flats apartments — on John Daly and Colgate street.
The situation escalated, and a person related to the woman fired a gun, killing the victim. He was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries.
Reports said two people were detained by police at the scene.
Family members said the victim is a 23-year-old who had a young child.
At this time, further details as to what led to the shooting are unknown. Police remained on the scene investigating, late into the morning.
