
TROY (WWJ) - Do you know this man? The Troy Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the man, who is nonverbal, found wandering near I-75 and 14 Mile Road.
The municipality posted a photo of the man on their social media pages Friday around 7 p.m.
"We need your help identifying the pictured individual! He was located walking in the area of I-75 and 14 Mile Rd. He is safe and healthy but nonverbal. We would like to get him home!"
Some Facebook users commented on the post, saying they also saw the man walking in the area earlier in the day. The comments include seeing him on Rochester Road near E. Elmwood around 10:30 a.m. Another individual said they saw the man walking along I-75 around 2 p.m.
From the photos, the man is white with short gray hair and appears to be in his 60s or 70s. The nonverbal man is dressed in a black T-shirt, black pants and a black leather vest with gray tennis shoes. He also has on thick, blacked out glasses or goggles of some sort and a long, black, string-like necklace.
