DETROIT (WWJ) A crash on Detroit's west side left a man dead.


Detroit Police said the crash happened on 7 Mile at the Southfield Freeway Service Drive on Thursday, April 9, around 2:20 a.m.




Authorities said a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle. Their make and models were not released.


According to police, the man in the at-fault vehicle died. The second driver was not hurt.


Police have not released the man's name or age.


The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It's unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors.
