DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are asking for tips as they work to identify and locate a man wanted in an arson caught on video.
The incident happened the night of Wednesday, February 21, at a home in the 1500 block of Kendall, near the Lodge Freeway.
According to police, the male suspect walked onto the front porch of a house, poured an accelerant, and then proceeded to light it on fire.
He fled the scene on foot.
The Detroit Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire, police said, and no injuries were reported.

The DPD on Friday released images of the suspect, taken from a security camera at the home.
