CANTON (WWJ) -- A 40-year-old man is facing charges after an incident involving a store dressing room, and a little camera attached to his shoe.
Police said the incident happened Monday at Plato’s Closet, a secondhand clothing store located on Ford Rd. in Canton.
Canton Police allege that Willie Eugene Davis attached the recording device to his shoe, and used it to record video of a person in an adjacent dressing room.
Davis was arrested and arraigned in 35th District Court on Wednesday on one count of Eavesdropping – Distributing/Disseminating/Transmitting Recording or Image Obtained, which is a five-year felony charge.
Davis’ bond was set at $10,000, no 10%, with multiple conditions set by the judge if he is released.
He is due back in court for a hearing on Oct. 28.
