HAZEL PARK (WWJ) -- Hazel Park Police are investigating what they call a "targeted" murder.
Officers responded at around 1:15 p.m. Monday to a house on E. George for a report of the sound of gunshots coming from inside a home.
They arrived on scene to find 43-year-old Ryan Leslie Adams, a Hazel Park resident. He'd been shot multiple times.
Adams was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police added that the victim is believed to have been the "only person targeted" in this attack, but they did not talk about a suspected motive for the killing.
No suspects have been named or described, as the investigation continues.
