EASTPOINTE (WWJ) – Two people have been arrested after an argument outside a home in Eastpointe Wednesday night turned deadly.
Eastpointe police were called to a home in the 18000 block of Holland Street shortly before 10 p.m. for an ongoing domestic violence call with shots fired.
When officers showed up, they found a 34-year-old man lying dead in the grass outside his girlfriend’s home.
An investigation revealed the man had gotten into an altercation with his girlfriend and her 15-year-old son.
While police officials said two people were taken into custody, they did not say whether it was the girlfriend and her son.
Authorities have not released the victim's name, and his girlfriend's age was not disclosed.
Police are still investigating to determine whether charges will be filed.
