SOUTHGATE (WWJ) -- Police are on the hunt for a man who is suspected of robbing a downriver restaurant.
The suspect was caught on camera breaking into the Southgate Grill, located on Eureka Road near Dix Toledo Road around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
Authorities say he used a landscaping rock to break a window and enter the building, after which he proceeded to steal money from the cash register.
Southgate Police shared still images of the security footage to their Facebook page, in which the man can be seen surrounded by broken glass with the cash register in his arms.
