OAKLAND TWP., Mich. (WWJ) – A mansion in Oakland Township formerly owned by Detroit rapper Eminem is hitting the market for a cool $3.23.

A listing on Century 21 says the 17,500-square-foot mansion is “a special gated estate executed to perfection with Detroit history.”

That Detroit history would be this: it was purchased by Marshall mathers, or Eminem, back in 2003. That was the same year Rolling Stone named his legendary album “Slim Shady LP” as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time, according to a report by the Detroit Free Press.

Before he bought the mansion, it was previously owned by Kmart CEO Charles Conaway, according to the Freep.

Eminem sold the home in 2017. It was on the market last fall for $3.75 million.

The gated estate lies on six acres, featuring six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, walking trails, a tennis and basketball court, pool, hot tub and a cabana.

It also comes with a 2,000-square-foot guesthouse.

The home is listed by agent Kyle Matta and costs an estimated $14,374 per month and $35,528 in taxes, according to the listing.

The home sits in a prime location at 5760 Winkler Mill Road – just minutes from downtown Rochester, the property also backs right up to Stoney Creek Metropark.

The full listing and photos of the mansion can be found on the Century 21 website.
