DETROT (WWJ) A massive fire spread through multiple homes on Detroit’s east side.

Fire officials told WWJ the flames broke out around 6 a.m. Friday in a neighborhood on Luce— in the area of Davison and Conant.

The fire began in a vacant house, and spread to three nearby occupied homes. It gutted the vacant house— tearing it down to just its stone columns and foundation. A family home on the corner was also destroyed, WDIV reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
