“…there’s black smoke and white smoke…I’m looking right at the main entrance to this particular building and there’s a blazing fire,” witness Gary Krupczak, who saw the fire while driving on Eureka Road, told WWJ. “…If that is what Hell looks like, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near it.”

Krupczak identified the building as Princeton Square Apartments. However, police would not confirm the name of complex to WWJ.

“…A very dramatic and traumatic event. The fire is still raging. They keep knocking it down and then it springs up again,” Krupczak said.

Firefighters rescued at least one cat from the flames.

There’s no word on any injuries or the cause of the fire.
