MGM Grand Detroit hosting hiring fair, offering big benefits package

(WWJ) Anyone looking for employment in the gaming industry, you're in luck!

MGM Grand Detroit is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, seeking dealers, cage cashiers, security guards, slot machine technicians, front desk, management, housekeepers and more.

President of MGM's Midwest Group, David Tsai, spoke to WWJ Newsradio 950 about the many benefits being offered to those who get hired in.

"We have full medical, dental and vision for one of the lowest paycheck contributions in town," Tsai said. "We offer free meals during your shifts, a free hot meal every day. We offer tuition reimbursement, we also offer adoption assistance; we have free life insurance for everyone employed with us; we have a student loan assistance program."

The job fair is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

"We are out there recruiting, we're constantly growing, we're welcoming guests back and there's a lot of opportunities for people that are interested in it," Tsai said.
