Would-be shoppers talking to Langton were not too pleased to hear about the problem.

"As you serious? Oh my God! Nooooo... Wow, that's disgusting!" one woman said.

In a statement, Kroger said that it has hired a pest control company, they will observe all proper protocols, clean the place up, and comply with all state regulations.

There store will remain closed until Kroger obtains formal approval by the state to reopen. It's not clear how long that will take.
