(WWJ) — Stanley cups have been taking the world by storm over the last year or so, with the stainless steel insulated tumblers hard to find on store shelves and going for high prices online — especially the special editions.

One Michigan ice cream shop is capitalizing on the Stanley craze with a pretty sweet deal: Stuff Your Stanley.

Michigan Cream & Sugar Ice Cream Company, located in Bay City, about 15 miles north of Saginaw, is hosting what they call the first-ever Stuff Your Stanley event on Friday, allowing customers to fill their tumblers with ice cream for $10.

“Oh, happy happy first day of SPRING! We're sorry Mother Nature hasn't quite gotten the memo yet ... but we have some sweet news!” a Tuesday post on the store’s Facebook page says.

“We’re putting the YAY in FriYAY in a big way this first spring Friday of 2024 with our very first #StuffYourStanley event.”

Customers can bring their 30-40 oz. Stanley tumbler or equivalent empty, clean, wide-mouth container and the store will “stuff it with up to four scoops of your favorite small-batch, made-from-scratch ice cream flavors.”

Michigan Cream & Sugar serves “hand-crafted ice cream featuring the freshest and highest-quality locally sourced ingredients we can find,” according to the shop’s website.

Unique flavors include bananas foster, mint condition (A “refreshingly minty white chocolate ice cream with house-made peppermint patties”), Michigan sugar cookie mixed berry crisp and more.

Michigan Cream & Sugar will be open 2-10 p.m. Friday.
