(WWJ) Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a freeway shooting along I-94.

A driver called 911 at approximately 10:35 p.m. Saturday and told dispatch he was shot at, according to Michigan State Police. The man told investigators he was heading eastbound on I-94 between I-75 and Chene when a passenger in a Dodge Charger, which was next to him, rolled down a window and then he saw a muzzle flash.

The victim didn't have any other information about the suspect, but exited I-94 and drove to the entrance of Comerica Park where he called the Detroit Regional Communication Center.

State Police investigators saw two bullet holes on the drivers side of the victim's car, but a search of the freeway didn't turn up any evidence.

Troopers are continuing to investigate and trying to determine where the incident occurred. Anyone who may have witnessed the shooting is asked to call Michigan State Police Metro South Post at 734-287-5000.

There were no injuries reported.
