Michigan State Police searching for fugitive sex offender who is wanted on multiple felony warrants

The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force are asking for the public's help to find Stephen Phillip Foster, a sex offender who is wanted on multiple felony warrants.

According to officials with the MSP Sixth District, Foster is charged with the following: Child sexually abusive activity - possession and distribute or promote, Sex offender - failure to comply with registration act on previous conviction of CSC 2nd degree person under 13, Firearms - possession by a felon, and Controlled substance - maintaining a drug house.

His last known location was in Kentwood, which is south of Grand Rapids, in Kent County, MSP said.

However, as of Tuesday his current whereabouts are unknown, and he may be out of state, according to investigators.

Foster, who goes by "Steve", is described as a 55-year-old male, 5'10" tall and weighing, 170 lbs. with brown eyes and brown hair

Anyone who has seen his wanted man, or who has information on his location, is asked to contact the MSP Computer Crimes, Cyber Section at 877-MI-CYBER, (option #6). Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call the Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
