(DEARBORN) Miller's Bar—known for its delicious ground round burgers served on wax paper—in Dearborn is up for sale.

Miller's, on Michigan Avenue near Telegraph, bills itself as the "no-frills watering hole for signature burgers and beers with an 'honor payment system'," according to its Google listing. It's been in business since 1941.

Crain's Business Detroit reports the asking price for Miller's is about $4 million.

The sale includes the business, trademarks, a banquet area, equipment, plus four apartments above the building and a salon.

The burgers used to be served with a platter of condiments prior to the pandemic. Now, they're only given by request.

A local realtor told WWJ its owners, brothers Dennis and Mark Miller, are ready to retire.
