Missing Detroit man left with unknown woman in blue Ford Explorer back in December

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are asking for tips from the public in the case of a man who disappeared late last year in Detroit.

According to his family, 59-year-old Tony Chase lives with bipolar disorder and has medical issues.

Chase was last seen on Friday, December 20, 2022, at around 10:30 p.m., in the 7600 block of Stout on Detroit's northwest side.

He left his home with an unknown woman in a blue 1999 Ford Explorer, police said, and did not return.

Chase is described as a Black male, 5'11'' tall and weighing around 200 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweater, and black jeans.
