DETROIT (WWJ) -- Twin 14-year-old girls from Detroit are back home safe, after a monthlong search.
The Detroit Police Department on Monday announced that sisters Anieca Ogden and Aniya Ogden were recovered safely, and have been reunited with their family.
The girls were reported missing after they were last seen Friday, March 8, when they left their home in the area of Curtis Street and The Lodge without permission.

In an update shared Monday, the DPD said Allen Park Police officers recovered the twins this morning, adding: "Thank you to the community and to the Allen Park Police Department, who assisted in finding the twins and bringing them home."
While police did not say where, or with whom, the twins were found, the DPD said it is continuing to investigate all aspects of the twins’ disappearance and recovery, and that it will release more information when appropriate.
