ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) -- The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a missing man was found dead in a wooded area cross from a Walmart in Rochester Hills.
Sheriff's officials say a body of a 49-year-old man was discovered behind the Marketplace Circle shopping plaza on Adams off M-59, at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
His daughter had reported him missing on Tuesday.
It's unclear at this time how the man died, and there's no word on whether foul play is suspected.
The OCSO had the area taped off, with deputies on the scene investigating into the afternoon.
The Oakland County Medical Examiner has taken custody of the body.
The man's name and city of residence were not immediately released.
